Free Camping 101

For us, free-camping (aka “boondocking” aka dry camping, aka dispersed camping) offers an absolutely incredible way to travel and experience the US. 98% of our stays while full-time RVing are boondocking, typically on BLM or National Forest Service land.

That’s why we’ve compiled all of the lessons, tips, and tricks that we’ve learned during all of our time boondocking. Over the last 18 months on the road, we’ve stayed at more than fifty different boondocking locations, in eight US states.

We hope that these tips, tricks, and guides can help you in your boondocking adventures!
